![]() Just checked they recommend motul Xclean for their fa20dit, I'm probably gonna stick with pennzoil until I go stage 1 because of the SN Plus rating on the pennzoil, after stage 1 I'll probably switch to Motul. I need help on figuring out if this is normal pressure for my car or if I should be worried. IAG suggests Motul X Cess for their EJ but I’m not sure about your FA. I’m kind of OCD about the oil pressure in my car and if it seems lower than usual it drives me crazy and my head spirals about things that might be wrong. The lower pressure is a little alarming to me. The oil pressure with the motul is around 87 psi maybe a little higher before I do a pull but after the pull it drops to around 72 psi if I’m at around 2500 rpm in 6th gear. With the motul it seems to heat up a lot of I do a pull or if I’m driving at that speed for 20 minutes. I have a set of Defi gauges one of which is oil pressure and when I had the T6 my pressure was around 87 psi while driving on the highway around 70+ mph and it would drop a little bit if I did a pull and it got hot. For 8100 X-cess 5W40, the 'first generation' will eventually be phased out of the market as it does not meet the latest (2019+) BMW LL-01 standard. I have been reading up on the motul and people have been saying they are having issues with the oil paired with DIT but I don’t know if my car is DIT. For 8100 X-clean 5W40, the 'first generation' will remain to cover older manufacturer specifications, such as BMW LL-04 cars prior to 2019, Porsche A40, and VW 502 00 / 505 00 / 505 01. ![]() ![]() I just switched from T6 because of the formula change, to motul 8100 x-cess. I have an 04 STi with a whole bunch of bolt ons one of which are 850cc injectors.
